Leather Coat in the Pavement Heat : a solo exhibition at Village Gallery, Leeds 3 Jul - 2 Aug 2026. Images Sam Hutchinson.

The exhibition takes the artist's publication Worldwide (bleed) (2025) as both a point of departure and a framework through which new and existing works are brought into dialogue. Launched almost exactly one year ago, the publication returns here to one of its current sites of circulation, Village Books, now recontextualised within the space of the exhibition itself.

Edit, Undo (2024) (Image 1,4,5,10) Acrylic plastic, aluminium frame, found stickers cut into stars.

Gestural mark making is captured through the clicks of a computer mouse and rendered into plastic by a laser cutter.

End (Reclaimed and anagrammed shop sign #4) (2026) (Image 2 & 4) Chrome and plastic.

The work is part of a series which uses reclaimed shop signs from former businesses anagrammed into new words; a simple action that gives the letters a new future.
